New Vehicle Warranty

All Vauxhall vehicles are covered by a one-year unlimited mileage manufacturer's warranty. An additional second and third year no-fee customer option warranty is also available in the UK. This additional warranty carries a mileage limit of 60,000 miles from first registration for all cars and vans except Vivaro and Movano vans, the additional warranty for which carries a limit of 100,000 miles from first registration.

Anti-Perforation Warranty

Vauxhall guarantees new vehicles against perforation by corrosion of the bodywork and underbody, where it occurs as a result of defective materials or workmanship.

The warranty applies for six years from the date of first registration except:
VX220 which has a 10 year anti-perforation warranty on the chassis.

Vauxhall offers an annual corrosion protection service which should be carried out regularly to maintain the validity of the warranty. For full details of Vauxhall warranties including terms, conditions and exclusions, please refer to the Service Booklet with your Vauxhall.

Vauxhall Assistance

Vauxhall Assistance is provided automatically with every new Vauxhall for 12 months from first registration and covers incidents such as accidents, mechanical breakdown, flat tyres to illness whilst driving. With Vauxhall Assistance help is literally just a free* phone call away, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!

While Vauxhall Assistance aims to provide the driver with peace of mind motoring, it is important to remember that the programme benefits are primarily aimed to cover manufacture based or mechanical faults affecting the vehicle. The policy does not cover certain self induced incidents such as the use of incorrect fuel, lost keys or instances where keys have been locked in the vehicle. It also does not cover instances where the keys are stolen. Should contact be made requesting assistance on these items the AA will be glad to arrange assistance if requested to do so, but there will be a charge.

Vauxhall Assistance is a vehicle based package so it covers anyone driving your Vauxhall with your permission.

* Mobile phone users will be charged at their standard tariff.

  • 6 year anti-perforation corrosion warranty with no mileage restriction, at no cost to you.
  • 3 years Chevrolet Roadside Assistance (provided by the AA), at no cost to you.

When purchasing a new Chevrolet, three-year fixed price servicing packages covering either 30,000 or 60,000 miles are available at very competitive prices.

Please note that warranty cover is available throughout Europe. Roadside Assistance and Fixed Price servicing are available on mainland UK only.

Additional protection

A range of extended warranty options are available to cover up to 5 years or 100,000 miles, along with our Chevrolet Plus programme to cover your servicing needs for up to 6 years or an additional 30,000 miles. Roadside Assistance can also be extended. All these options are available at very competitive prices.

 

Warranty

All new Saabs purchased in Great Britain come with a three-year 60,000 mile warranty. This covers the cost of both the labour and parts required to rectify any defect in manufacture. Every component in the car (excluding normal wear and tear items), is covered for the whole duration of the warranty. If you are unfortunate enough to experience a problem, all you have to do is contact your dealership.

AA Assistance

All new Saabs purchased via the Saab GB dealer network have free AA Saab Assistance coverage for three years which applies throughout most of Europe. This service provides rapid assistance should anything happen to your car whilst out on the road.

For Approved Used Saabs purchased via the Saab GB dealer network AA Saab Assistance coverage is available for one year.
